pet oil portraits My love of pet portraits came about while living in Warwickshire, England. The art of old and modern British horse portrait masters such as, Stubbs, Herring, Alken, and Munnings, became my inspiration to begin painting animals. Initially a hobby, soon became a way of life. At present, with close to fifty years experience and hundreds of portraits done, I recall the joy and excitement many of my clients expressed having felt, upon receiving their pet painting. In my art experience, nothing makes me happier.
